Snap Pads are covered with pressed cotton, Postalco’s signature textile made using the same machinery for tent fabric. To highlight its natural texture and character, it's designed to age, soften, perhaps even wrinkle a little with use.

Founded by product designer Mike Abelson and graphic designer Yuri Abelson Postalco has been based in Tokyo for over 20 years. The stationery company, inspired by traditional artisanship and precision manufacturing, collaborates closely with family-run craftspeople and businesses across Japan. Their daily life items focus on functionality, durability, meticulously crafted understated designs, attention to detail, and the designers’ affinity with colour.
All their items are made in Japan following the nation’s tight environmental regulations. This includes vegetable tanning of leathers, using domestically woven textiles and sustainably sourced Japanese wood, as well as a commitment to developing new, environmentally conscious materials.
