Send a little good luck or just make someone's day with Takako Copeland's delightful Daruma Card. The daruma doll is one of Japan's famed auspicious symbols. Traditionally, you would paint one eye on the doll and make a wish, then the other when the wish came true. But there are no rules! Each card comes with a pair of eye stickers to decorate as you wish.

Takako Copeland is a Japanese illustrator and printmaker based in London. Having grown up in the Japanese countryside surrounded by nature, she is especially conscious of the changing seasons, which inspires her colour palettes and designs.
A Central Saint Martins design graduate, Takako began working as an illustrator creating images with layers of colour, a process that drew her towards Letterpress and Riso printing techniques. Her illustrations often focus on original characters, everyday scenes and family life that resonate with her vibrant, joyful and humorous personality and lifestyle. As a member of the London Centre for Book Arts, Takako can often be found at the studio, printing with a cylinder proof press or carving her works into lino block.
All Takako’s greeting cards are printed by traditional letterpress machines and foil blocking presses in London. Her designs are carefully hand-printed in layers of colour and stamped with hot foil for a truly luxurious and tactile finish.
