We were so excited when we were given these ceramic shell-shaped mini graters to be a part of NiMi Objects. Small, ceramic hand graters are a household staple in Japan — not just in kitchens but also on dining tables. Shaped like scallop shells, with tiny spikes at their center to grate with, these are an unusual twist on a traditional utensil.
