A winner of the 2020 Red Dot Design Award, Knot’s porcelain Frustum items bring the age-old custom of Japanese green tea into the contemporary household. Elegantly minimalist in design, they draw from history, with their unusual angular shapes inspired by traditional heavy cast-iron nambu kettles made in Tohoku.
In a subtle blush pink, the Frustum Tea Cup is lightly glazed for a matte finish at Shinyama Kiln in Gifu, an area renowned for its porcelain artisans.
