Like the faint lines of light rain, onomatopée’s sasasa collection takes its name from the soft sound of a gentle, summer downpour. Designed to be worn individually, each piece features lines of the tiniest dots — like paused streams of delicate raindrops. To be worn as a single, individual accent, or mixed and matched with other sasasa pieces with purposeful asymmetry, the 4-stick sasasa is the most dramatic of the series. Its lines of 4, 11, 23 and 14 dots form a striking 4.1cm long design available in gold vermeil or sterling silver, and in necklace form.

Designed by Hisano Con and Satomi Morris, onomatopée is inspired by the magic of words — their potential to spark the imagination and creativity. The two London-based jewellers have been designing elegant, minimalist jewellery since 2022, drawing inspiration from sounds, personal memories and traditional Japanese folk crafts. Like onomatopoeic words, their pieces are beautifully simple yet subtly playful, designed to evoke emotions and free the imagination.
Please note: Every onomatopée piece is individually hand-made, items may differ slightly from images.
